Dmitry Cherevko
(recorders, cornamuse, double flute, transverse flute, domra, dombra, maultrommel, vocals)
was born in Rudny (Kazakhstan) in 1975. He graduated from Rudny Musical College Flute Department with excellent grades in all subjects. From 1997 to 2002 he was a student of Petrozavodsk Conservatory, oboe department. He was seen many times playing in several bands as a block-flute soloist. |
Pavel Popov
(oboe, English horn, rauschpfeife, recorders, can, vocals)
was born in Revda settlement (Murmansk region) in 1981. He graduated from School of Arts, oboe department, since 1999 he has been a student of Petrozavodsk Conservatory and a soloist in the Conservatory orchestra. |

Igor Solovyev
(mandolin, kantele, medieval harp, vocals)
was born in Petrozavodsk in 1971. He has a Master’s degree in enthomusic. He was a student of Petrozavodsk Conservatory from 1997 to 2002 and graduated with a diploma project in musical culture of the extreme North people (the Saames tradition). He was a part of several ethnomusical projects in Petrozavodsk such as "The Roots" ensemble and groups "Tall Trees", "Skylark" and "Deti-do". |
Alexey Nikitin
(djembe, darbukka, landsknechttrommel, percussion, glockenspiel, vocals)
was born in Monchegorsk (Murmansk region) in 1976. He graduated from Murmansk Musical College, drums and percussion department. He was a student of Petrozavodsk Conservatory from 1997 to 2002 and graduated cum laude. He took part in drums instruments seminar and master-classes of M.Pekarsky in Moscow, November 2000. |

Sergei Popov
(viola, alto, rebec, yiouhikko, contrabass, vocals)
was born in Irkutsk in 1973. He graduated from Murmansk Musical College, alto department and Petrozavodsk Conservatory, contrabass department. His main hobby is reconstruction and repair of authentic musical instruments. |
